The underlying reason why I want to study biotechnology is because I’ve always had an inclination for anything related to the field of biology. I remember as a young man reading about Darwin’s theory of evolution and how natural selection plays a key role in any plant or animal species adaptation.
This career path presents an opportunity to merge that curiosity with innovation, and something I’m looking forward to study, while having the chance to manage other aspects of my personal life.
More importantly, this career path will allow me to learn about various fields like: microbiology, chemistry and various methods and engineering concepts.
Hopefully someday I get the chance to apply the knowledge and concepts that I get from studying this career, and I’ll be able to contribute innovating new products and ideas that help minimize the human footprint on our environment, while also helping to elevate the quality of life of our nations population, thus helping on achieving a sustainable economy for future generations.
